Eastside Community Carnival

Vendor Booth and Sponsor Information

The 2010 Eastside Community Carnival will be scheduled in November 2010 in the parking lot (west end) of the Eastchase Village Marketplace just off I-30 at Eastchase Parkway. Hours of Operation are TBD. We hope your group will be interested in being a sponsor or operating a food, vendor, art, or craft booth at this year's carnival. This is an excellent opportunity to be in a very high profile location at an extremely reasonable rate, and we hope that you will join in this community celebration.

The funds raised during this event will be reinvested into the Eastside Community via the many projects lead by the Historic Hadley Development Corporation. As many of you know, we are just a few short months away from the grand opening of the Historic Handley Railroad Museum located at 1020 South Handley Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76112. In addition to featuring restored cabooses, more than 300 pieces of memorabilia and artifacts will be displayed at the museum. The facility will also serve as a learning center for school groups.

We will determine a theme for this event and a best decorative booth contest will take place. Three prizes of $50 gift certificates will be awarded. Please consider entering the contest by decorating your booth to reflect this fall's theme.

This event will consist of midway carnival rides, carnival games, artist and vendor booths as well as community booths. Booth applications are being accepted on a first-come-first-assigned basis. The requested deadline for all applications is TBD.

There will be Food Concession spaces. All food must have a fire extinguisher, or they will not be allowed to open. Fire extinguisher tags must be current, and each unit must be 100% charged. Additionally, each food vendor is required to secure all appropriate permits for operation of their concession.

There will be Community Information booths available at a special rate. Only 501(c)3 designated non-profit organizations are eligible for this reduced rate booth space. Community information booths may hand out paper flyers and information only. No food, drink, or merchandise may be sold from an information booth. Non-profits wishing to sell merchandise or conduct a fundraiser must select a sales or food vendor space.

Artist and Crafter booths will be available. Art must be created by the artist exhibiting. Craft items are defined as handmade items not pre-packaged for retail sales. No commercially pre-packaged items are allowed in this category.

Commercial booths will be available. Commercial vendors are anyone wishing to sell commercially produced merchandise, memberships, or services. Banners are allowed within your 10'x10' space.

If you would like to have a more prominent presence during the event, we would be happy to discuss our sponsorship opportunities.
